This map is a remake of the original DM-Azure from "Unreal Championship 2: The Liandri Conflict" Xbox title. I always thought this map had a great layout and I hope you enjoy this little experiment of mine trying to adapt it to UT2004 :). While I was able to export all the original textures from the game packages, I wasn't able to retrieve the static meshes, so I had to build them without any knowledge of Lightwave. That's why this map, my first one for UT2004, took so long to get finished.
Here's the changelist for this v2:
- Added a static mesh for the pool trims
- Fixed a couple of overscale issue on the courtyard
- Lighting redone almost on every place of the map
- New static meshes for the broken stairs
- Grating mesh completely redone, now it uses the proper UC2 texture and it has 250 polygons less
- Various performance optimization on the outside
- Some new textures and a new shiny effect more similar to the original
...and I probably forget some other minor tweaks
