I am excited to announce the final release of DM-Alcatraz. It is a prison-island map modeled roughly after Alcatraz in San Francisco. It is a medium sized map that caters to many different styles of gameplay. Dm-Alcatraz combines stunning visuals with a logical floor plan spanning multiple stories, and is guaranteed to provide hours of fresh UT3 gameplay. I have literally spent hundreds of hours on this map over several months and have released 3 betas online, though there were many more major revisions in between. I would like to thank Bl!tz~ for his thoughtful contributions to the map. The map has been played most often with 16 total players, which provides a balanced but action packed match. Up to 36 players can also be extremely fun if you’re in to insanely fast gameplay.

The map features roughly 90 individual cells in 3 different, 3 story cell blocks, a shower/locker room, exercise yard, guard’s quarters, and execution chamber. I created custom static meshes for the electric chair, benches, tables, shower heads, sink, toilet, and cell bars.

Note: I cant figure out how to put a screenshot in the menu! I’ve followed the tutorials and failed every time. If an experienced mapper can help me out and get back to me asap I can add this feature without screwing too many people over.
