DOM-BlueStarMountain

This is a my second Domination map. This has to be my most unique map yet. I learned how to draw bitmap images and import them into Terra edit before making this map. I was able to create awesome cliffs and a complex detailed mountain. I used this terrain to build kind of a King of the hill type map.

This map is a big mountain surrounded by cliffs with just one domination point up on top of the mountain. Every one starts out at the bottom of the map and has to run to the mountain top. Team cooperation is really usefull in this map since you have to assault the hill top and try to take it over. Once you take it over, your object is to then keep the control point yours for as long as possible. This means that the other team will run up the mountain like a swarm of ants and try to take the control point back. I put lots of weapons, armor, health and everything else at the top of the mountain and at the base of the mountain. Since the base of the mountain is so big, I made sure to put plenty of weapons at the bottom so that people won't have to walk around searching for them before attacking the mountian top. All of the weapons at the base of the mountain are placed in Nali huts, or little Nali buildings. The top of the hill is defined with walls that are short enough to jump over. These walls do a good job of letting you know where the mountain top is. There is also a tower at the top of the map with a sniper rifle on it. I made sure that the tower wasn't to tall so that a sniper couldnt spawn kill people at the base of the mountain. This sky box is also one of the best that I have made yet. The background cliffs really go well with the theme of this map. And of course, the name of this map comes from the big blue star that is in the sky box. I thought the blue star looked so cool that I had to name the level after it :)\
