It is a well known fact that Bombingrun isn’t a creation of our time. Long ago, in the age before recorded history, an old and almost forgotten civilization created and played the game of old. The game was blessed by their gods, whom we know from the Egyptian culture. The Egyptians inherited the gods, but sadly, not their favourite game. When the old civilization left earth the game left with them. The old arenas, where many a game had been played, was converted into temples in honour to the respective gods. But, a few of them was sealed up to lay hidden until their rediscovery centuries later. We found them, and with them the description of the game that caught our fascination. We called it Bombingrun, because of the purpose of the game, which is to run with a “bomb” into the enemy goal, thus scoring points for the team. The sport grew ever more popular, and new arenas was under constant construction. But more and more people wanted to return to the old arenas, and thus they where restored to their former glory. The most recently restored of these is the arena dedicated to the god of hunting, Onuris.
