This is the public beta test of my newest and Final creation for Unreal Tournament 2004.
CTF- Foreground is supposed to be a wide open all-natural arena set in the cascade mountains.
The idea: To create a map entirely from scratch: all textures, meshes and geometry will be built from the ground up.
The goal: to make this map playable, fun and have low impact on performance.
What I'm looking to improve after the beta: The map is silent: sounds are next on my list. Wether these will be 100% original is still in debate. The water is not finished and will look much more realistic when the full version is released. The foliage will be more varied:including ferns, weeds, and flowers, not just grass. I will also put a shock rifle on the map: one for each base. The beta is to test the game play and performance on multiple machines. If you do not enjoy the map, or it does not run well, let me know. If you do enjoy the map, please tell me what you enjoy.
