An arena, designed as a test, a test of skill.
There seems to be a shifting motion in the games industry at the moment, level designers are guys who make box levels, and artist make them pretty. Unfortunately for me that means I cannot really do visual stuff on my work maps, but I still felt that craving. Working with next gen, full blown dynamic lighting also made me wonder how much could be achieved in an older generation game if a level designer would not limit himself as much.
This is why Tribulation was designed to show off good visuals, secondly to have interesting gameplay, then the rest. Unfortunately it did not go through a lot of testing since my free time is limited. But I think I caught most of the bugs! All models and textures in the new packages were made by yours trully. All Level design work was also done by myself. I did have some feedback from people of course and my gratitude goes out to them. The song is not my own, I edited it slightly to shorten it from 6 to 2.5 minutes.
