im having issues uploading my maps to map raider, every time i click "send" it doesn't even load anything it just says "error occurred"...and in an unrelated manner if I'm submitting my map and it just happens to have the same name as one already here, "DM-Nightmare" <very common name i might add> does it still get submitted or will i need to rename it?

Are you talking about uploading the map ZIP itself, uploading screenshots, or just clicking the "submit button?"

Having the same name is fine, but it's often better to put something in the name to differentiate it, such as your initials or something, because if there's a file on our mirrors with the same name already, we'll have to rename it anyway.

Let me know about the uploading and I'll look into it. If it's the ZIP file and you can't wait, you may want to use a site like RapidShare.com and just put the link to the download in your submission.

    LOL nevermind :)

I see that you in fact, did do that for your submissions (I just hadn't got to them yet in my email notifications. I am mirroring and approving them now.

Hey bloodhownd - quick question regarding DM-Somewhere2.

Do you want to keep the old version still available for download, or do you want DM-Somewhere2 to be the only version available? You submitted it as a new map rather than an update to the old map, so I wasn't sure. Just let me know. The map is mirrored and awaiting approval as soon as you can.

If we do it as an "update", anyone who downloaded the original version will get an email notice that you updated it. However, the old map links will redirect to the newest version.

Also, I edited your descriptions on your submissions little bit and removed your email address. I don't allow email addresses in descriptions/comments so help keep spam crawlers from harvesting your email address from the site and spamming you. Visitors to the site can email you by clicking the little "envelope" icon under your name anyway.
