I've only recently started using Unrealed, but it's nothing I'm not used to. However, I recently was creating a map, and suddenly all my textures disappeared; all walls, ceilings, floors, etc. turned blue, no textures whatsoever. When playing the level the textures still appear, just not in the editor. After trying everything I could think of, I finally gave up and decided to start over again. But when I subtracted to form my first room I encountered a similar problem, but instead of blue, all the walls where white and textures could not be added. I've exhausted every idea I can come up with nada. HELP ME PLEASE! I feel like Unrealed is a new toy that I broke right out of the package :(
I managed to get the textures back, but I don't really know how. I didn't do anything I hadn't already tried, but this time when I reset my viewports, the textures returned. As I said before I had done two or three times before, so I'm still stumped as to why it happend in the first place, and how I managed to alleviate the problem. Any ideas as how to prevent a similar problem in the future would be welcome.
I think you have to learn how to use the ed before you're trying to do anything with it. You're tex aren't gone (if they are, you would see a strange greyish texture), you only switched to the Portal View. Wich allows you to see the borders of your zones. You have this little list of cubes in the header of your vieport. Each one stand for a mode! For the biginngen youz only should use the textured and dynamiclighting view.
