I loved the original deck16 and wantered to do something special for UT2003. It's my first map, not completely done from scratch as the original framework design helped me learn unrealED 3.
I wantered to really test the UT2003 engine and get the best out of todays graphics cards, thats why there is lots of detail, meshes and lighting. At the time of design some months back, I've had to cut down on some lighting and projectors for speed even on a AthlonXP 200+/GeForce4 Ti4400/512Mb DDR, although it played at 1280x1024x32 full settings, 5 bots at 50-60fps.
Gone are the bad things that reall did may head in about deck16 (like the slime), bigger fighting areas a extra lift which can be used to rain rockets down on unsuspecting players, better flow, access and just looks awesome.
