Painkiller

Base style Quake level. Has 5 respawn points. This is the most known map of the ztndm series. After seeing Danimal's old classic "Imminent Boom" I got an idea to make a 1-on-1 map myself. Started as a DM3 styled map, I didn't get into the roll until I tried Iikka's "IkBase" textures. I have to say, those were probably the most inspiring textures I have used in my "career"...I finished the main architecture in one night! The item layout, testing and tuning took a bit longer though, but with the kind help of Ramshackle guys, the result is incredibly balanced providing enjoyable 1-on-1 matches.
