And deep beneath the rolling waves in labyrinths of coral caves, the echo of a distant tide comes willowing across the sand. And everything is green and submarine. And no one showed us to the land.
DM-1on1-Soaring

DM-1on1-Soaring is a Deathmatch industrial themed map for Unreal Tournament 2004 released by Unknown.

As a marketable excuse for felling world's last tree, and robbing the handful of remaining animals of their last natural habitat, mankind built this huge concrete building exhibiting what can only be described as an artificial replica of what we used to call 'nature'. This museum now stands as a symbol of a time before humanity sacrificed it's once living and breathing world for it's own boundless greed and growth.

Here it is, my first completely self designed/conceptualized map 'DM-1on1-Soaring'. It is set in a strange museum featuring brutal z-axis, an incredibly dense layout, a very smooth flow, countless hiding spots, enough room and many possibilities for wicked movement, a lot of prediction and relatively low visibility to make all weapons viable. While mindless charging won't get you far here, strategically playing and predicting your opponent's movement will be the key to dominating this map.

As with all my maps 'DM-1on1-Soaring' is optimized for competitive cups and received a lot of testing to ensure maximum playability. The bright colors and the green plants were used to make the player feel comfortable. I also tried really hard to create and use meshes for actual gameplay purposes like providing more enclosed rooms, allowing for interesting dodging/hiding spots or helping with orientation.

DM-Sateca-SE

DM-Sateca-SE is a Deathmatch sci-fi themed map for Unreal Tournament 2004 released by Unknown.

The Sateca Research Vessel on the ground of the ocean should have been destroyed to hide away all clues of a telefrag incident down here. Liandri's experts somehow managed to infiltrate the team that was sent down to place the bombs and rescue this facility for the Tournament.

I was contracted by Cluex.org to improve and fix DM-Sateca by Samuel 'SamRo' Korn for them to use in competitive and paid tournaments. After one month, 200 hours of build time done solely by me and uncountable hours of play testing done by the top UT2004 players DM-Sateca-SE was finished. Cluex even hosted a Sateca-only "Captain of Sateca" cup just before the final release. I tried to keep the quality as high as possible during the whole process and improved all aspects of the map so that both competitive and casual players can enjoy it. However skilled players can truly do incredible stuff on this map. I would like to thank ShX, the owner of Cluex, as well as skAven, the one and only Mr. Captain of Sateca, for their extensive feedback and test sessions. We iterated over many ideas to improve gameplay which was a lot of fun. A shout out goes to all beta testers and cup attendees as well. Cheers guys, this would not have been possible without you! Close quarters and some powerful weapons make for intense matches. My second map. From the readme:

Liandri corporation, tired of hackers infiltrating its systems, built an arena to accomodate for their punishment. Bouts between sweaty nerds were not popular among the viewing masses, but efficiently deterred further hacker activity against Liandri networks. With its purpose fulfilled, the Hackwell Processing Unit is now used for more profitable matches.

Located deep in the mountains these temples were built by Chinese monks as a place of refugee and isolation. That is until Liandri found it...

Overall purpose of this level was to push my abilities in 3ds max and to experiment with some cool new ideas I had. Although the map was designed mostly with visuals in mind the map still has a fluid layout made for gameplay.

I wanted to see if I could make a playable level on a set time schedule and I did it. My goal was also to use only a couple of textures. In fact only two custom made base textures was used for the level. The rest was done with combiners and shaders. I wanted to use as much bsp as possible and then use vanilla static meshes for the detail. It's a colorful, wacky kind of map, but I kind of like the way, it turned out. As for the music, well... I decided to go completely overboard. It's just as crazy as the rest of the level. I hope you enjoy.

DM-TheLongestYard-DoubleDecked-Final

DM-TheLongestYard-DoubleDecked-Final is a Deathmatch sci-fi themed map for Unreal Tournament 2004 released by Unknown.

::I assure you, all emitters a.k.a. Effects show in game without issue. When taking screenshots, sometimes they are not visible. For Example: The teleporter in PIC#5 is only missing in the screenshot.::

I wish the screenshots could speak 100% for themselves. They speak of how hectic and epic this gameplay must be, yet if you were to jump in and experience it... The gameplay is actually very balanced, collected, fair, and symbiotic. Navigation is easy and strategic. Measurements cater to the player's method of attacks and support the movement it takes to achieve their plan.

Aside from that, I have only one last thing to say, and it's very worth knowing. Most jump pads in the map can be used with air control to allow an alternative landing. But you'll never see more than 2 options, and they may take you through initially unforeseeable routes. Keep this in your arsenal to juke enemy's attempts. It's like the secondary fire to your UT2004 weapons. Jump pads allow you a secondary option, but with your movement. You'd be surprised what you can do with air control in this level.

---There ARE weapons placed in this map. FULLY SUPPORTS DM and other gametypes. For the purpose of showing the layout and everything else as clearly as possible without the obstruction of the pickups, these were screenshot inside the Team Arena Master gametype where there are no spawned items.

Why is this great for Team Arena Master?:
First of all, Longest Yard has been a Brute in the TAM server map selection; Standing alongside the popularity of Under and Cheops. So we know it's enjoyable and fitting for UT2004 already. But when you add twice the amount of everything, as I did, and in the right ways with the right tweaks and small additions, then you have something extra great, more balanced and fair.
- Spawn points have even been altered specifically for TAM!
- 10 are on one side. The remaining 10 reside among the structure of the other section. Half are told to only spawn the red team. The other half, separately placed in the other section, are told to spawn only blue team (with this alternating each round). There IS one acception I made that that, intentionally. Each round there is a chance that one player from each team will spawn at the lowest part of the map facing one another about 15 feet away. This is the duel scenario I set up. However, you can quickly enough escape right or left to choose between a jump pad that launches you out of the area, or a teleporter.

ENJOY!

This is reimagined CTF version of the original Gateways map which I started for the UT99.org XMAS contest, but abandoned in favor of Epic Town. After a while I decided to just complete this map anyway, so here it is :)

Okay, this ain't a great CTF map, but's okay - not too much z-axis but it does work, quirks and all. More of a novelty map I'd say. Best played with teams of 5 masterful bots (or better). You can load up teams of 8 if you like a lot spam (there are several choke-points). Of course humans would approach this sort of map more creatively that BOTs, although I don't expect it'll get played online much, if at all, oh well.

AS-Overlord2k4 is a Assault realism themed map for Unreal Tournament 2004 released by Unknown.

Overlord2k4 is a remake of the original Overlord from UT99. It has been fully adapted for Unreal Tournament 2004. This is my first serious map, so expect there to be LOTS of problems with it. Original map by Dave Ewing.

Project Flora Ep.1

Project Flora Ep.1 is a Single Player sci-fi themed map for Unreal released by Unknown.

There is a temple deep in the massive rock of Na Pali. It is dedicated to the earth god, who defend the rich fauna of the planet.

When the Skaarj landed, and began to suck the planets energy sources, they didn't find it. Now they are falling, and they won't calm down until they find something they shouldn't.
The plants, trees sense the trouble ahead and try to stop them. After the UMS found out what's going on down there, they sent their own as well.

You are Patton, member of the II.Scout squad. Your mission is easy. Find out what is waiting under the surface.

Flags are situated at the end of, and in the middle of the first cave. A watch tower, platforms and a waterfall with a bridge decorate the scene further. This is one of my first maps.

CTF-Face-Palm is a Capture The Flag ancient themed map for Unreal Tournament released by Unknown.

A hi-res jungle remake of the classic Facing Worlds map, with a twist. One side is lush and green while the other is brown and dying. There is also a new island offshoot from the center of the map which throws the usual game-play out the window.

BTW, don't look down if you suffer vertigo :D

VCTF-RT-TrainCrossing

VCTF-RT-TrainCrossing is a Vehicular CTF industrial themed map for Unreal Tournament 2004 released by Unknown.

A small town divided by water.

This is a medium-sized open map for 12-24 players. The middle part of the map is covered in water and you can cross it by jumping on top of passing by trains, taking a ride on the boat in ports, using the bridge, flying the cicada or manta, just swimming or, if you're pro enough, using the jump boots, speed combo and shield jump at the same time.

There's a lot of powerups (DD, jump boots, pickup of invisibility) and also super weapons such as redeemer, ion painter and even nuclear strike painter.

The map is a remake of the VCTF-TrainCrossing map from UT3.

Changes:
Beta1->Beta2
*Optimization. Lots of it. Aligned all brushes, applied proper zoning, added anti-portals and cull distances
*Some misplaced meshes were fixed
*Custom vehicles are removed, instead of them I added the boat from the original map
*More decorations
*More pickups
*Jump boots updated
*Fluid surface replaced with a sheet
*Added notifications when trains\boat arriving\leaving
Still need to do:
*Volumes with different names so you'd always know where your teammates are at
*Terrain
*SurfaceTypes and EAX support
*Hidden places
Known Bugs:
*Bots act stupid. They don't use trains\boat, don't know what to do with jump boots, can't access super weapons and sometimes get stuck. Also I removed all bot paths in the water because otherwise they ignore the bridge.
*Trains and boat are a little bit laggy when playing online.
*Jump boots are probably OP, as said in the description, you can cross the river using them, speed combo, shield-jump and the island in the middle. But that's the reason I made them so OP, and also they aren't fun otherwise.
DM - LIP - Q3DM17 (The Longest Yard) is a Deathmatch sci-fi themed map for Unreal Tournament 2004 released by Unknown.

Well, I know that Q3DM17 is a very famous map for Quake 3 Arena. I didn't see any remake for it that was a little similiar to the original q3dm17--they were all remixes/different styles--so I decided to make mine, and here it is. Hope you like it! :D
