Aliens have constructed the great Terra Arenas and have abducted intelligent life forms from other worlds, forcing them to fight in these arenas. They hope such conflict will reveal weaknesses which they may use to their advantage at some point in the future. Each species is allowed to build their own fortifications, and many times the same species are pitted against each other. Each Terra Arena has been terraformed to mimick the homeworld of at least one of the species in each competition. Thanks to respawn technology no combatant truly dies so one must keep reliving the endless horror of pseudo-death. Well it seems the Aliens made the mistake of abducting human Anthony B. I won't go into details, but suffice it to say they have regretted this abduction ever since, which resulted in the humans overtaking at least one of the Terra Arenas, and gaining control of several alien ships. The aliens vow to retake their arenas and technology. In the meantime the remaining humans in the Terra arenas train relentlessy for combat, awaiting the inevitable return of a most formidable foe.
