Hey map authors! Now you can use Mapraider to host private beta testing of maps you're working on!
Simply submit your map as normal, indicate that it's a beta version and enter the IDs of the members you want to allow access to the map (If you'd rather do a public beta test, you can still just leave out the member IDs).
Once your map is approved, your beta testing team will receive a special e-mail notifying them of the beta test and a link to download the map. They'll also receive e-mail notices automatically each time you update the map during the beta test. You and your beta testers will be the ONLY people allowed to view/download your map on Mapraider.
After your testing is complete, simply use the version update feature (click submit, then click 'submit new version'), remove the beta test information and update any other info or screenshots you'd like, and the final version of your map will be added to the system as normal!
This is just the first phase of this new feature and as such, it might have a few bugs. Be sure to let me know if you find anything wacky. There's a lot more to come (like a private forum area tied to your beta test and only accessible by your testing team), so stay tuned.
